You Are The Air

I lived inside your poem in hopes I'd find a story of my own and now I think I've found a home there. It's better than nowhere.
I turned to face the breeze and felt the salt come washing over me. I'm roiling with the see now. I still can't make a sound, though, I try to speak out loud for you.
I haven't seen your grave. I learned that it takes up too much space inside my head for days. Now, you are the air that fills my house.
Through the microphone I heard someone rustling in my clothes. Do you think you've found a home? Call out if you are the air after all. I'd love to know. I'd love to make the cold wind blow this storm off coast. Please let me grow.

Now, You Are The Light

When everybody chose to flee you were the last one here to leave, oh, mystic maiden but you've never left me.
I stare at your size in skies polluted by the glow of neon lights that burn to blight. You are the largest sign I find when I scan the horizon line.
Now, you are the light.
I've seen your lines connect the dots up in the sky. Every bridge you never crossed was still worth burning in my eyes.
You've come to life somewhere deep inside my mind.
Now, you are the light I will keep burning through the night.
